It's your favorite Suicidal Healer, Eus here. Hope everyone has been doing well. I feel bad for not keeping up the whole blogging thing. Truth is, too much is going on. Between my work schedule, child, and raiding/other WoW time I'm not sure if I'm coming or going.
Having Lil Ruh off to Kindergarten has been a lot of fun. He really enjoys it. He's been going for about a month now and has made lots of friends. Also, he's been taking Karate class every Monday afterschool. The school offers it through a local Karate School and it is at a very reasonable price and they teach the children all about discipline, self-awareness, and stranger safety. I've even volunteered in class to help the instructors.
In health news, a few weeks ago I came down with another stomach bug. Considering I've had way too many in the last year, one earlier this year keeping me down for six weeks, my doctor wanted to go over a few things with me. So I went and saw him and he suggested a prescription powder mix medication. You see, I had gall bladder surgery two years ago. For anyone who has had the procedure done, you know exactly what I am referring to when I say it is a difficult thing to go through. Re-learning how to eat again, meaning what you can and cannot eat that won't kill you with pains and such. Seeing your bathroom way too much is another thing you have to live with. The first week was pure hell and the rest of the year was not pleasant, but a trial and error. The problem is now that every time I get a stomach/intestinal bug I am not only dealing with that but irritating my stomach and intestines via seeing too much of my bathroom. I've taking the medication for two weeks now and my life has changed so much already. I've found that mixing it with yogurt is a great way of taking it.
In WoW news, been raiding ICC with Eus and we've gotten to Sindy. It's only a matter of time before we ROFLstomp ol Lichy Boy.
Also, it's Brewfest! One of my favorite in game things going. My lock Matrona got the remote and the kodo. When I got the kodo, there were three others and a guildmate Anasurimbor. One of the other shaman got the kodo and him and the two others left. That's when I opened my bag and I screamed so loud that Ruh, who was sitting behind me, thought I was shot and I think he might have shat himself. Anasurimbor laughed his ass off and we were all thankful that we were not in vent. Many eardrums would have been lost at that moment.
This week I decided to work on Lovkinja. I've been playing around with her other dual spec of Survival to give it a shot, since I never really use it. It's alright but I want to give it a try to see how I like it.
On Wednesday I took her into ICC. She didn't do too bad and she got some really nice and very much needed gear. On Friday and Saturday she worked on PVP. Also worked on old raids and that was fun also. I think players should start to do more of that. Some of those are just plain good old fashioned fun and should not be missed out on.
On Saturday I took Lov into a For The Horde. Now, I've been playing for over four years now and I have never done For The Horde on any of mine, not even Eus. So, when a For The Horde came up I jumped right in on Lov and earned my Black War Bear. Was lots of fun and I hope to see more of them so I can get them on all of mine. Meh, I'm proud of it since I've never done it but I say better late than never.
I've been a very very very bad blogger. It's been a while but, hey, life happens. Work is crazy. Coming up on the end of season so hopefully it should slow down a bit. Also on the personal front, I'm about to celebrate seven years of marriage with Ruhtra over at Holy Shock. Lastly our son is about to start kindergarten in about three weeks. Excited at the same time but also sad panda-ish. Not being able to see his little dark head peeping around corners, snickering as he causes some kind of Tiny Ruh mischief. /sigh
On the WoW front....lotsagoingons.
I've spent a little bit of time on Argent Dawn but not as much as I would like to be. I leveled Eusy and Nyxalva one more level. That's pretty much it. I am still enjoying the storylines so I do not want to stop playing on there. I'm on a mini-vaca so maybe Tuesday I will devote to AD...but we'll see.
In MAS news: Our guild, who is strict 10 man progression has downed everything in ICC up to Sindragosa. Took two nights and we kicked the door down and kicked ass as only MAS does.
One super duper thing happened to me just after the first ICC night. Me, Ruh on Popebutch and three other guildies wanted to get a daily random out of the way. We cue up and get HHoR. Instant groan from all. We decided to grin and bear it and I am ever so thankful that we did. As we were taking down the mob just before the second boss, the Battered Hilt dropped. We all agreed to roll need on it. Guess who won.........
Eus<---
(Yeah baby) *cue Carlton Banks dance*
So, after I did the Carlton Banks dance and stopped screaming in vent...I made a decision that would change one of my alts forever. Eus already had Lockjaw and pretty much all my other alts were good on their weapons, except for my dk Itsirhc. So, Eus walked up to her sister, handed the battered hilt over to her and said, "Itsi, do Silvermoon proud." One fist bump and battered hilt later, Itsi was on her way to claim Quel'Dalar. The next day, Itsi tanking as Unholy spec with Frost Presence, along with three other guildies (Whole=tree, Iluvtrees=kitty, Vergaler=rogue) went thru the three ICC 5 mans and reforged the quel'dorei sword. Seeing the Isle phased is a once in a lifetime event, and I ever thankful for all the guildies being there along with me for the journey. As Whole and Iluvtrees were battling the allies outside the Sunwell, Itsi was escorted into the Sunwell and claimed Quel'Dalar for all the children of Silvermoon. Phased or not, it was still funny as hell to see the UI's of those two. Seeing them in combat was hilarious.
On the pvp front, Ruh, Noos, Iluvtrees and of my pvp friends, Roguermon decided to start some pvp trouble Saturday. As I got home I could see them running around so I decided to jump on Lovkinja and run with the boys. I was somewhere else leveling up my fishing and was trying to figure out how I was gonna get to where they were. After summons I found myself outside of Stormwind Stockade. We had some fun there and decided to take the party over to Ironforge. We hung out there for about two hours before they had to get around 20 allies to take us five down.
After rezzing and getting out it was time to head to bed. So I was about to log off when I got a horde whisper from one of the allies, bitching and crying. I laughed at them and told them it took 20 of them for the five of us...who's crying now? Put them on iggy and was about to log again when each of us were getting whispers. I love that. It's pretty childish behavior. Sore losers.
So, was about to make my final attempt again, to log off when we saw Iluvtrees hearthing in the middle of a duel. We laughed at him in vent and started to tease him. He was screaming and panicking because he was not hearthing at all and got knocked offline. The character came back on and we knew at that moment was happened. He had been hacked. Poor Trees changed his password and still kept logging in. Ruh told the person that they were wasting their time because Ruh was downranking Trees and his other toon he has in guild with us. Basically, the hacker was getting nothing from the gbank. Ruh put in a ticket to a GM, who responded back within about 20 minutes. Blizz will be tracking account and locking it down. Trees tried all day today to get in touch with Blizzard Customer Service but they are so busy that they just disconnect. Ruh also told Trees what programs to start running to clean his computer and to search for viruses. Hopefully Blizz gets it straightened out. I told him he also WILL be buying an authenticator. I know what that feeling is like and it is horrible. It bothers you more when it is someone you know and a great guildmate.
So, to sum up this post...
AD=miss you, ICC 10=yay, Quel'Dalar=yay, pvp=fun, all hackers=GO DIAF!
There are several type of tanks out there that I would categorize in the general field of tanking. But after many experiences there are two that stick out like nasty, pulsating, infected sore thumb.
Type A
I will call this type Slappy, also known as Slapnuts. This type of tank needs Ritalin, is very energetic and always on the go. He/She is gogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogogo and NEVER takes a break. Nor does he/she give the healer a break for mana. Pft, it's not like healers need mana or anything to keep people alive....that's crazy talk! Also, your mana using dps'ers could be struggling also with no break, but that's not Slappy's problem, now is it?
Healers, if the next words out of Slappy's mouth are "Whur my healz?" or anything remotely close to that, it's good to keep your Healer Pimphand strong. For this type, it is advised to keep a corrective device handy. I would suggest the Rolled Up Newspaper of Whoopass and Attitude Adjustment. With such fine motion across he/she's nose, it has a profound effect to keeping those gogogoer's in line and to calm the hell down.
Type B
This type is also known as Spanky. Spanky is an evolved version of Slappy. We in the WoW universe have seen an infestation of them recently, more so in the last year. These tanks act just like Slappy, but seem to not pay any attention in party at all. The other party member can give all the advice that even the Titans would understand, but ooooooh no, not Spanky. He'z/She'z gotz teh smartz. He/She don't need no stinkin advice and they are letting you know loud and clear. The worst offenders of Spanky are the ones known as Death Knights. Some Death Knights have escaped the Spankyism, but sadly, there are some who were not so lucky. These types of Spanky's seem to have no assemblance of how to properly tank. Frost Presence and in some instances Death and Decay seem to fall by the wayside and many party members cry out for the misery to end and each one fall down in a not-so-blaze of glory. Once again, Healers, keep the Healer Pimphand strong and swing mighty.
Again, I ask too much, but I hope for the best everytime I log onto one of my 4,279 alts and all I'm asking is if you have no clue what you are doing, ask or read up. There are people, like myself, who do not ridicule and try to help others. We really do exist. Don't be afraid of us. I want to see players out there who try to guide others to be better players. But most importantly, I feel some of those out there who are being asses in these randoms and even in raids are wasting more energy acting like they do than just playing and trying to make the best out of any situation.
So, the dust has settled and we, the people, can claim victory. It has finally been decided that RealID is a very bad idea as far as the forums go. To me, that is the smartest decision made yet. Furthermore, I decided when it was first announced that I am one of those out there refusing to join the RealID club. Other guild members have and that is wonderful and dandy. Not me. I love my friends and all, but I also want my privacy. But once again, thank you Blizzard and Activision for not going through with forcing players into using RealID for forums.
And to the one who posted the blue's information...I gotta had it to ya. Point proven. To me, that might have been the straw that broke the camel's back. I know it was not in a harmful manner. Kudos to you.
In other news..
Been bouncing around between Argent Dawn and Daggerspine. Matrona is as geared as Eus is now, so yay me. Really bad randoms all across the board. Boo.
And finally...
Question: When does ridiculous become ridonkulous?
Answer: When you are working the return desk and someone returns four cases of bottles water, as defective.
I can't make it up folks. It really happened. A few days ago I had someone return four cases of bottled water as defective. This customer actually proclaimed to know their bottled water and claimed that the water inside the bottles is not what is on the label. They also went onto proclaim the water as being of another brand.
I gotta say, I was baffled, stunned, amazed, stupified, and so on. It took everything in me not to laugh at this person. On top of that, imagine the clerk in the back of the store, whom all broken and defective items go to. The look on their face said it all.
Water is water.
So, I guess the moral of this whole story is that people can amaze you. Whether reversing a really bad decision or proclaiming to be a bottled water connoisseur, people can shock you when you least expect it.
Enjoy your fireworks and cookouts this weekend! Be safe and have fun!
Remember to take time to thank those who continue to serve that keep our freedom free. And please remember those who gave their lives to defending that same freedom.
Continuing on my adventures on Argent Dawn-US, I was questing with my "other" Lovkinja (the night elf version) and her kitty Ochocinco in Darkshore. And yes, I named my kitty Ochocinco because A) I live in the Cincy area, but in KY B) I actually DO like the Bengals and C) I love Chad Ochocinco, awesome dude. Besides, I wanted a bengal kitty and I am not about to run to Durotar for those bengal tigers. If you go to the Bengals games, they actually use the white bengal tigers, you know, just FYI.
Anyways, I was questing and low and behold I see something VERY familiar.
BUTTERCUP IS TWO-TIMING MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding.
You see, when my better half's hunter Lrem went out and got Smiley, I thought he was cute. And I always wanted one of my own on Lovkinja (the original, blood elf version). When I went out to Un'Goro and saw this one, it screamed Buttercup and I tamed her and now Smiley has a playmate, or mate, however you look at it.
So I see this hunter out with Buttercup, same exact one and I had to tell her that it really did warm my heart to know that somewhere out there, another hunter had a Buttercup.
This first photo is my original Lovkinja on Daggerspine, with her Buttercup.
This photo: Here is me on my other Lovkinja, with Ochocinco, saying hello to fellow hunter with her Buttercup.
So, again to Jerei of Heroes of Legend, I salute you!
Ok, a few weeks have gone by and I made my post over at Holy Shock but I thought I would just give a little update-aroo on my progress on both Daggerspine and Argent Dawn-US.
I've felt really bad the last few weeks because our ICC raid night on Dspine is on Fridays and I've had to open Saturday morning so I've been unable to run it. So I just simply think I hate work and that's all there is to it. Since my work schedule does not able to just not come to work because of ICC....and me or my family winning the Powerball lottery is a long shot at this time....you can send your donations to the Get Eus Back Into ICC Fund or call 1-800-Eusy-Now.
Just kidding, but that would be pimp.
Also, Matronamorta my lock has come along very nicely, better than to be expected. I've also been working on my mage, Hyades. She is almost 67 and getting ready to say goodbye to Outland and hello to Northrend. And it appears that she has made some friends...and foes. You check out the post over at Holy Shock all about it.
In Argent Dawn-US news, Eusy has made it to 28. Her dps, which is miniscule at that level, has gotten better. It's just weird taking up ret, but I wanted to change things up. Nyxalva has made it to 21. I'm kinda excited to see how being boomylazerchicken will be. Again, a change of pace considering my Dspine druid Moodru is feral.
I am also excited because we now have 24-level 80's in SAN, so that is AWESOME. They cleared Naxx and are entering Ulduar later on in the week. Again, I'll get there someday but I am enjoying taking my time over there and getting to meet everyone and share stories and whatnot.
So, I say to everyone, enjoy the rest of your week and if you can't be good, be good at it!
To all those who fought and died for this country, I salute you. Thank you to those who have served, continue to serve, and thank you to the families who have lost those in battle.
As I stated before I spend at least one day over at SAN-Argent Dawn US and Eusy is still at level 20. I haven't forgotten about her, but I've picked up my druid and am curious about it. I decided to go boomy with her because it is something different that I have never tried before. So, I am approaching level 20 on my druid on SAN-Argent Dawn and I was just curious, where should I go next? I left the homeland of Teldrassil and went to Elwynn Forest and am currently in Westfall and am getting close to being finished with that zone. So, I was curious, should I go back to the homeland and head to Darkshore and finish that stuff out and then head to Ashenvale, or should I go somewhere else?
Any thoughts/advice is always appreciated. Now, time to get my post ready over at Holy Shock...take care all!
RIP-RJB You were violently and wrongly taken from this world five years ago. You are never forgotten and I know you are still soaring with the angels. May God continue to Bless you and your children and one day we will meet again.
Sorry that I have been slacking on the whole blogging thing but Eusy has been a bit busy lately. After being off six weeks I'm back at work full-time so that saps some of my time. I've also did as promised and have dedicated one day a week to SAN over at Argent Dawn-US. I've also been working the other 6 days over at DSpine with MAS. Along with full time mommy-hood and such, yep, I've been a little bit occupied.
In other news, my better half, Ruhtra over at Holy Shock has been asking me to contribute to his blog and I've put it off for a while but have decided to make a weekly post on Wednesdays. I think it just came down to I didn't want to give up The Suicidal Healer because I do enjoy having my own piece of work to call my own. And I just have to realize that I am contributing and that it should be considered an honor to be added to another person's blog. It is their work and they want to share so I do consider it an honor, not just because it is my hubby and all LOL.
Going back to work has put a lot of strain on me. I work four 9hr days and one 8hr day every week. Being sick took a lot out of me but going back was tough. Of course I enjoyed spending time with our son but I was really sick so spending time was challenging but great. I'm glad to be back at work and building the stamina is a work in progress but I'm getting better.
I've also noticed that some things don't change. I had two days recently where people could do nothing but curse and carry on. I actually had a father say the F-word in front of his son, who is probably my son's age, so I'd say anywhere between 5-7 yrs of age. Pretty classy, huh?
Lastly, some leveling to speak of. Eusy has made it to level 20 on AD-US. She now has her pally mount, which I gotta say, for a Draenei to be on a horse is just weird. They just look awkward sitting there. Almost like they are too big for the horse or something. Can't really put my finger on it but it just looks weird.
Three days ago I added another 80 to my stable of many alts on DSpine. Matronamorta, my Destro-Lock is coming along very nicely. When I look back, I have to say that from 1-40 it was really boring but I just decided to stick with it and see how it turned out. From then on I've pushed her to do things she should not normally do. She saw much of Blackrock in the randoms and there were a few times where she was known to tank.....don't ask. Again, things a lock should not have to do, but has proven with a damn good healer, it could be done. I have much fun with her and the gear is coming along slowly but surely and I hope that she makes Emprius proud. I tease Ruh all the time that Matrona is the apple of Emp's eye but he poo-poos it off and says that Emp would flame her face off. See, that's love right there folks!
I have more ramblings and thoughts but that will wait for another day. Until then, take care!
With that being said, I want to know, my pallies out there....what do you think? I don't care if you are prot, ret, or even holy. I want to hear your thoughts. And even if you are not a pally, I still want to hear you!
I'll tell ya, you might get a post from my better half Ruh over at Holy Shock about this, but this is where I'm putting in my two cents.
F**k Blizz.
I've read it and I am so pissed it is beyond words. Those are the only two words I can use to best sum up.
Another thing, I want videos released that show how these ideas are implemented and how they work. Now, maybe I am overreacting but from what I am reading it is a big heaping pile of steaming bullshit.
I am a fucking flash build. Fuck your holy build and shove it up your ass.
Oh yeah, I went there.
For those of you who want to know what has Eus's panties in a bunch, here is the posting:
In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm we’ll be making several changes to class talents and abilities across the board. While this list only outlines some of our plans for the paladin class, we want to give you a look at the new high-level abilities and an overview of how the new Mastery system will work with each talent spec.
New Palaidin Spells [Blinding Shield] (available at level 81): Causes damage and blinds all nearby targets. This effect might end up only damaging those facing the paladin’s shield, in a manner similar to Eadric the Pure's ability Radiance in Trial of the Champion. The Holy tree will have a talent to increase the damage and critical strike chance, while the Protection tree will have a talent to make this spell instant cast. 2-second base cast time. Requires a shield.
[Healing Hands] (level 83): Healing Hands is a new healing spell. The paladin radiates heals from him or herself, almost like a [Healing Stream Totem]. It has a short range, but a long enough duration that the paladin can cast other heals while Healing Hands remains active. 15-second cooldown. 6-second duration.
[Guardian of Ancient Kings] (level 85): Summons a temporary guardian that looks like a winged creature of light armed with a sword. The visual is similar to that of the Resurrection spell used by the paladin in Warcraft III. The guardian has a different effect depending on the talent spec of the paladin. For Holy paladins, the guardian heals the most wounded ally in the area. For Protection paladins, the guardian absorbs some incoming damage. For Retribution paladins, it damages an enemy, similar to the death knight Gargoyle or the Nibelung staff. 3-minute cooldown. 30-second duration (this might vary depending on which guardian appears).
Changes to Abilities and Mechanics Next you will find a list of some of the paladin spell and ability changes, followed by our intentions for improving each talent tree for the release of Cataclysm. There will be further changes, but those revealed below should offer some insight into our goals.
[Crusader Strike] will be a core ability for all paladins, gained at level 1. We think the paladin leveling experience is hurt by not having an instant attack. Retribution will be getting a new talent in its place that either modifies Crusader Strike or replaces it completely.
[Cleanse] is being rebalanced to work with the new dispel system. It will dispel defensive magic (debuffs on friendly targets), diseases, and poisons.
[Blessing of Might] will provide the benefit of [Wisdom] as well. If you have two paladins in your group, one will do [Kings] on everyone and the other will do Might on everyone. There should be much less need, and ideally no need, to provide specific buffs to specific classes.
[Holy Shock] will be a core healing spell available to all paladins. New Talents and Talent ChangesWe want to ease off the defensive capabilities of Retribution and Holy paladins slightly. We think the powerful paladin defenses have been one of the things holding Retribution paladins back, especially in Arenas. One change we’re considering is lowering Divine Shield’s duration by a couple of seconds. Having said that, Retribution does pretty well in Battlegrounds, and Battlegrounds will be a much bigger focus in Cataclysm since they can provide the best PvP rewards. Furthermore, the healing environment of Cataclysm is going to be different such that a paladin may not be able to fully heal themselves during the duration of Divine Shield to begin with, so this may not be a problem. We feel Retribution paladins need one more mechanic which involves some risk of the player pushing the wrong button, making the rotation a bit less forgiving. In addition, we want to add to this spec more PvP utility. Right now the successes of the Retribution paladin in PvP seem to be reduced to either doing decent burst damage, or just being good at staying alive. We want to increase the duration of
[Sacred Shield] to 30 minutes and keep the limit to one target. The intention is that the paladin can use it on their main healing target. That said, we would like to improve the Holy paladin toolbox and niche so that they don’t feel quite like the obvious choice for tank healing while perceived as a weak group healer. We want to add to the Holy tree a nice big heal to correspond with [Greater Heal].
[Flash of Light] remains a fast heal, but will be more expensive to justify the cast speed.
[Holy Light] will be the go-to heal that has average efficiency and throughput.
[Beacon of Light] needs to be changed so that its benefit is letting the paladin heal two targets at once, not letting the paladin get two heals for the mana cost of one. It’s intended to save GCDs and targeting time, not mana. Holy paladins will use spirit as their mana regeneration stat. Protection paladins need a different rotation between single-target and multi-target tanking. Likewise, we're looking to add the necessity to use an additional cooldown in each rotation.
[Holy Shield] will no longer have charges. It will be designed to improve block chance while active, and will continue to provide a small amount of damage and threat. Mastery Passive Talent Tree Bonuses Holy 1.Healing 2.Meditation 3.Critical Healing Effect: When the paladin gets a crit on a heal, it will heal for more.
Protection 1.Damage Reduction 2.Vengeance 3.Block Amount: We want to keep the kit of the paladin as a tank who blocks a lot. So by contrast, the warrior tank will sometimes get critical blocks, but the paladin will absorb more damage with normal blocks.
Retribution 1.Melee Damage 2.Melee Critical Damage 3.Holy Damage: Any attack that does Holy damage will have its damage increased.
Vengeance This is a mechanic to ensure that tank damage (and therefore threat) doesn't fall behind as damage-dealing classes improve their gear during the course of the expansion. All tanking specs will have Vengeance as their second talent tree passive bonus. Whenever a tank gets hit, Vengeance will give them a stacking attack power buff equal to 5% of the damage done, up to a maximum of 10% of the character's un-buffed health. For boss encounters, we expect that tanks will always have the attack power bonus equal to 10% of their health. The 5% and 10% bonuses assume 51 talent points have been put into the Protection tree. These values will be smaller at lower levels. Vengeance will let us continue to make tank gear more or less the way we do today – there will be some damage-dealing stats, but mostly survival-oriented stats.
As far as I'm concerned the only good thing here is getting the whole Blinding thing. (Eus taps opponent on the shoulder) "Excuse me? May I have your attention for just a moment?" O: "Why sure." Eus: "BAM"
The whole Holy Shock thing does not need to go to any other spec of pally other than Holy. Sorry, but it makes us unique since we are not the typical fighting pally class, this was our "oh shit, it's coming right for me" button and my "oh shit I need to get that heal off quick" button. Why the fuck should rets and prots get it also? Sorry rets and prots, no disrespect but I'm sorry, no holy shock for you!
Another thing, take your BoL and FoL thoughts and stick em. When BoL first rolled out I thought it was something really special and gave us a chance to compete with other healers that have HoTs. Now they are gonna go and fuck that up, too.
I'm sorry Blizz, it just seems to me you are just pulling things out of your ass now and just feel like fucking with something that ain't broken. I thought when I heard that the tree form was being taken away from druids was nuts but this tops all. Trees are so cute. Nothing needs changed. If dumbasses want to see their armor, go out of tree. Nuff said.
Anyways, hope everyone had a great Easter. As you all may know, Noblegarden has arrived in Azeroth. I really never got into it in the past few years so I thought I would take the time and try it out for a test drive this year. I've found a great spot in Falconwing Square, Razor Hill, and Brill for spawning of eggs. And being a rabbit hippity-hopping around is so much fun, and it's cute. And still, pooping out eggs is just as much fun as watching the Cadbury bunny doing it. Not as cool because Cadbury ftw but still.
Righteous Orbs put out an excellent guide as far as night elf territory goes for egg spawning. Now I will let y'all in on my little secret and play show and tell, horde style:
To start off Noblegarden, find a commoner, such as this fine blood elf gentleman. They will give you a quest called Spring Gatherers, in which you speak to a spring gatherer in one of the cities listed on the quest.
Next, head to a city listed.
For this demonstration I shall use Eus as the guinea pig (shhh, just don't tell her).
So, here is Eus in Falconwing Square.
Speak to the spring gatherer and they will give you a quest The Great Egg Hunt. She gives you a basket to equip and you run around and gather eggs. Also, speak to the Noblegarden Merchant and they will give you a quest called A tisket, a tasket, a noblegarden basket. Basically at this point you are gathering chocolate and egg shells. The chocolate can be used in achievements and as currency. The eggs will also drop items that you could use to spend the chocolates, but they are drops instead. If you use your noodle, find a good spot to farm the eggs. I will show you the best spot in Falconwing Square, Razor Hill and Brill.
Falconwing Square:
This spot is exactly where she is facing. The eggs spawn to the left of the tree, behind the wagon where Sleyin is located, and to the left furthest away from the tree.
This is a good spot that Ruhtra found on his attempts. The eggs spawn in the fountain and under the benches. It is best to do this attempt while transformed as a bunny to see low to the ground under the benches.
Brill:
This spawn point is on the left side of the inn and under the wagon.
Razor Hill:
This is a good perching spot. To the left side of the inn. Eggs spawn at several points but this advantage point is good. If you stand your toon exactly where Eus is right now, I will tell you each spot. You will see the eggs spawn in the water tank over across the way. Another spawn point is to the right of the mailbox. Another spot is to the left of these boxes. Another is in between the boxes. There is also a spot underneath the cart which will be behind you. Another spot is beyond the wagon at the cooker.
In my honest opinion the best places is Razor Hill and Falconwing Square. Best respawn timers. So, happy hunting and get your hippity-hop on with your bad self!
Cadbury bunny, I love you. You and your chocolate bunny cousins that I love to munch on every year (The larger the better). Any bunny that can poop out such lovely confectionaries such as those is a blessing.
May you eat as much chocolate bunnies, Resse's peanut butter eggs, and peeps as humanly possible!
To answer all those questions that some WoW gamers need answering and other thougths about myself:
Yes, ret pally, by all means, leave your righteous fury turned on. Because the tank loves it when you pull aggro off of them. You are a detriment to your class.
No, I don't enjoy having your pet/ghoul/demon on aggressive and having taunt/growl turned on. It does not help the situation.
Yes, there are the same types of players on both faction sides. Believe it or not.
No, I can keep a secret. And I even hold my word. If I say it I'm gonna do it.
Yes, you have a large epeen. The largest by far. Omg flex it even more. Wave it around for all to see.
No, I really don't care about the recount you've now asked to be posted now for the 15th time.
Yes, I can be a bitch, but only when provoked.
No, it is not a myth. Girls/women/females do play WoW and other games. Promise.
And yes, we play more than just healers....
No, I don't find it difficult to play alongside my better half.
Yes, we do fight in game, but it stays there. Why, because it is just a game. Not real life.
No, some people just don't know when to shut the hell up. Open mouth, insert foot. Some people excel at that.
Yes, some people enjoy beating the dead horse. Why, I'm not sure....
No, I don't enjoy corpse campers and 80's who can decimate lowbies. It's pointless. That is not pvp.
Yes, I love seeing the piper getting his due.
No, I actually don't enjoy fighting. Only bring out stress but I've got thick enough skin.
Yes, pvpers make better raiders. Why? Two words: situational awareness. Think about it.
No, I don't hate people. Nor am I hateful.
Yes, I hate lying, disrespectful, lowlife people.
No, I'm not quiting SAN. Just need to concentrate on MAS atm. Promise I'll be there.
Yes, I love people and love speaking and getting to know people. I love knowing their passions, strengths, weaknesses, what drives them, what makes them tick.
No, I'm the least tech savvy person. I'm lucky to have email. I tried Facebook. I lasted about two weeks. Will not try anything else. Too busy being full time mom-full time wife-working full time job to do so. I'm lucky to be playing WoW.
Yes, I can be cold, but I have to be pushed to that limit. I am compassionate, honestly.
No, none of this probably makes sense because it's like 4 in the morning lol.
Hello Everyone, hope you are doing well. As you know I have been updating the ol' blog. Sorry if you had some trouble finding me but I made a tweak in the address that needed corrected. Wow, cannot believe I've been blogging for a year now. Time flies! Well, I think the maintenance is almost complete. Last two things I have to do now is update the blogs I follow and some photos and it should be golden from there. Again, thanks for letting me educate and entertain you for a year now! I've made some great friends and hope to continue with what I do best....and that is being myself.
So remember holy pallies out there....take a page out of the Eusy holy pally playbook, if you are the last one going down, go down swinging.
Early this morning Ruh and I were cruising Youtube and found this gem. Needless to say, if you watch the video, at marks :15-:39, reveals the answer to stopping Deathwing and preventing Cataclysm.
Now that we all had a good laugh, for those of you that don't know, there was a game called Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans. WoWwiki it sometime. It was cancelled before it really got off the ground. Now I gotta say, seeing that just makes the game that much more interesting. There are maybe 2 other additional clips on Youtube about this game.
Only thing we need to worry about now....is there enough Cheetos for Deathwing to satisfy his munchies........
Well, from what I am gathering, today is Whiny Post Day. Well, if I am keeping with tradition, here's my whiny question?
Why do we not celebrate St. Patrick's Day in WoW?
Now, I do believe there is a difference from Brewfest and St. Patrick's Day. Today, everyone is Irish. I actually do have a hint of Irish in my blood, but I realize that not everyone does. Well, today is the day that everyone can be Irish, even if just for one day. But, where's the green? The leprechauns? The four leaf clovers or shamrocks? The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Hell, vendors could sell green beer and rivers everywhere could be dyed green...some already are but not by choice...but still. Remember Wolpertinger? Well, I say, let our avatars drink and they can chase leprechauns or search for the clovers/shamrocks. Something, anything....it just would be nice to be able to celebrate it somehow in WoW.
Other that that, Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! May your beer be green, may you get home safely, and may your hangovers be minimal!
Thought I would give a new look to the blog. I figure I'll try it out and see if it sticks. Also, I added my email address at the bottom of the page, so if anyone would like to contact me directly you now have that option.
So, if you want to know about holy paladin healing, how I put up with Ruh's massive ego, how couples handle playing WoW and how to be the A team in healing partners, how I feel about certain tanks, about my alts and their progress, my fun time with SAN or my guild MAS, how my day was going at work and the crazy things I see there, or any other questions/comments/concerns and would like to express them directly to me, and only me as my eyes will be the only one seeing them, you now can do so.
I promise to read them as soon as possible and if you would like for me to contact you back, please be kind and notate it in your comments.
Bloggers and readers: Have a great day and keep on WoWing!
Single Abstract Noun....140 members and growing by the day. Pretty amazing. Plus, I did something I thought I would never do before. Now, I am mainly on Daggerspine, as you all know, but I have other faction toons spread out across other servers as well. This means I also have alliance toons on those servers also. With that in mind, I decided to do something I have yet to do...roll a Gnome.
Yes, I said it......GNOME!
And I gotta say, I think she is just adorable! The world seems so big to her, but in real life I kinda understand that with being only five foot tall myself.
Anyways, here is Escroca, my gnome rogue...gazing upon the world...
Day #2 on Argent Dawn US server is going pretty well. It is great being able to chat with fellow bloggers and readers and getting to know them. So far it has been a great experience. Being a Draenei is different..but it's going good.
When Ruh and I logged off last night we had almost 80 people signed up with us in Single Abstract Noun. Word is spreading like wildfire and that is awesome. Again, I think the concept is exciting and I hope it flourishes. Well, off to work on Eusy some more, but here is a photo of me spending time with Ruhtra....
So, I've heard through the grapevine that the blogging community is joining forces...or something like that...
Kudos to Miss Medicina and Righteous Orbs!!!
Argent Dawn US and Argent Dawn EU joining forces, kinda like the Super Friends or whatever lol. Hey, I like the idea. Plus, it gives us a chance to really get to know the people you read everyday. Ruhtra and myself rolled several alts on Argent Dawn US last night. I had to name my pally Eusy, but people know me by that, so if you see me in game, you'll see a Draenei pally named Eusy, hit me up and say HEY! Ruhtra was lucky, nobody took his name so he is just plain ol' Ruhtra.
Well, here is Eusy making friends already!!!
Again, awesome idea and I can't wait to see who I will get to meet as the journey continues...
I realize we all wander off in thought as to what "could" happen in Cataclysm. Some things have been confirmed, some things rumored about. Some things that I had hoped for all these years are happening. Like the Greymane Wall. Yeah bitches!!! Its'a coming DOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!
*ahem*
Anyways, there are a few other things but I was thinking just the other day about other things, like Eversong Woods...and Silvermoon. And Ghostlands. It has been confirmed that starting zones are changing, and also that the Plaguelands are being revitalized. On that note let's start with Ghostlands....how bout some love? The Blackened Woods as it was called before the Ghostlands (for obvious reasons)need some revitalizing. We kicked Dar'khan's ass all over Deatholme, why not? We kicked the Stay Puft Twins (Knucklehead and Lulu) asses all over there, why not? We retrieved Sylvanas's locket and had to deal with her very angry dead family up in her spire and her village, why not? We dealt with the Trolls there and over in Zul'Aman, why not? I may not have the exact answer as to what phase that land should be now but Deatholme needs some touch up, that's all I'm saying...
Now, let's turn out attention a bit north...Eversong Woods. The Dead Scar...gotta go, along with all the Mr. Boneses and Rotting Fleshies. Silvermoon, totally needs a repair job. Now, go a bit more north and west.....the Wretched. Seriously...I can't stand to look at them. Those mana crack addicts need help or something. It's bad enough that I have to look at their blue blobs on their backsides, but just imagining if Eus or any of her relatives had to look like that....EWWWWWWWWW.
Now, finally I shall ask for one last act of redemption. For all sane and deserving blood elves out there.
Blizz, this is what I ask:
See this guy right here. Please, go down to the Dead Scar, grab a few rotting fleshies and Mr. Boneses, lock all of them in a room with him. This guy is a jerk. Along with his partygoers.
Case in Point:
What a bitch.
Seriously, here we are, defending our land from zombies and this snooty bitch thinks it's a sport.
For anyone who has done this quest chain or would like to, head to Fairbreeze Village and get the quest to head to Saltheril's Haven. Get his fireworks, his alcohol and his appetizers. Turn it back in and get the invitation. Remember, you must have the invitation in one of your bags in order to speak to the partygoers. Just see what they say. Hmm... maybe when we get done with the scourge on the Dead Scar, they should have to do community service and do some zombie clean up? Fair Enough?
Secondly, at around 4pm est, my death knight, Itsirhc finally hit 80.
Lastly, an interesting short story.
So, I am at work today and was working at the return desk. A man comes in and wants to return some lumber and various pvc plastic fittings. I noticed that one of the pieces of lumber has a little bit of mud on it. I didn't worry too much about it because we could resell it really cheap as scrap.
Then I locked eyes on pure nasty.
When he placed the pvc stuff onto the counter, a counter which I had just cleaned mind you, it was nasty
Each piece was caked in what I really hoped to be mud.....
Disgusting.
Especially when I know that we did not sell those to him in that condition, yet he felt it was okay to return them that way.
No.
So, after calling a manager over to also re-explain to him that he could not return those in that condition, this is where I will interject my funny here.
He actually used his shirt...to clean each fitting.
I almost feel dirty just laughing my ass off on the inside about it. I mean, I have a marching band and a parade going on in my head, you know, the one where they are playing like the star spangled banner with sparklers coming out of their asses, because of all the assholes and douchebags I have to deal with, this one had to do that, and pay the way he did.
Hey there bloggers and bloggerettes! Hope your last week has been going well inside and outside WoW. So, the last week or so I have been on vacation from work. I also took vacation from blogging. But Wow was in full overdrive. My dk, Itsirhc, or Itsi for short, hit 78 last night before heading to bed. My goal was to have her to 80 by end of my vacation, so halfway through 78 isn't too darn bad. I've put a lot into her this past week. She has done nothing but quest and randoms. I have also changed her hair and hair color...3 times. I had her hair like Eus's original hair looked. Then I changed it to the same cut as Eus now, but with dark hair. Now I have changed it again...long white hair. I just can't get happy with a new look long enough...Woe is me? Speaking of randoms, I have nothing but good things to say about the people I grouped with.
Except Sunday.
Really stupid people on Sundays....
(making mental note...avoid randoms on Sundays....Sundays are bad, mkay)
People who cannot control their pets and pull groups and over pull groups, whether they are hunters/warlocks/dk's. Pets running wild. That's bad, mkay.
People pulling very badly, even without pets....that's bad, mkay.
Fail tank who blames others for their over pulling....that's bad, mkay.
Fail tank who blames myself and a shaman for pulling...even though my ghoul is on passive and even though myself and the shaman and any other party member are nowhere near the tank because he is running at ludicrous warp speed and over pulls...that's bad, mkay.
Same fail tank as above stated he and his other party member need to raid and calls shaman shitty, when he did just fine and no issues other than the fail tank, and fail tank and party member leave on boss pull, that's bad, mkay.
See, and I know what happened. I went looking for my rolled up newspaper of attitude adjustment and I thought maybe my ghoul ate it but then I remembered that I handed it over to Darraxus for his fail runs. Darraxus, may I have it back? lol
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life.
Well, sort of like that.
Today kids, I shall be discussing a topic that some bloggers have touched on already.
Fail tank.
In fact, today I had a few fail tanks.
More importantly, both were druid tanks.
I am sorry if I offend the few druid tanks that know what the hell they are doing, but omfg, I hate druid tanks.
I'm sorry, and this does go to all tank classes out there, but if you cannot hold aggro if I even handed you a bucket to hold it in...you have no business being a tank.
(Eus hands fail druid tank aggro bucket) (Fail druid tank looks at Eus and asks, what do I do with this?) It's kinda like that.
With this being said, I am nominating my two druid fail tanks awards to the following: Raek and Bliitz. I will not name their servers but these are the two I am pointing out.
My run with Raek was in reg Nexus. I've been working on my dk, Itsirhc, so I figured, "hey, why not some randoms today, since they have been going so well for me lately!"
In comes Raek.
When we are on the beginning part of the run where you deal with the alliance in the iceblocks, well, aggro went all over the place and he feels he can run thru the instance at ludicrous warp speed. When I see him lose another target and as it goes onto the healer, I notice he did not even try to pick it up off the healer. I did what I had to do and I gripped it back. Our dps was fine so I didn't worry about it. He yells at me to never grip. Again, if fail tank cannot regain aggro back on runaways, not my problem. Letting it kill the healer, again, that IS a problem. The only thing that made this run any more miserable was the fact that the shaman in the group was Recount Retard happy. I had to see the Recount posting after EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TRASH MOB AND BOSS. Seriously dude, if you have to post it, at all imho, you have issues. The entire run went like this between these two. The only solice I had was I got new shoulder for Itsi.
Now, onto Eus's run in OK.
Eus, her better half Ruhtra, her partner in crime Edyion, and longtime friend Zethux decided, "hey, let's run some random heroics!" In comes Bliitz. Terribad tank. We didn't make it five minutes before imploding. Again, fail tank decides to run at ludicrous warp speed, lost aggro, etc. Not only that, I, as the healer, almost died due to tank not holding the aggro bucket I gave him before the start. He was so bad that when we were fighting the multiple mobs he decided to pull before boss #1, Ruh ended up dying. Asshole tank doesn't let me try to rez Ruh nor get my mana up. He rushes first boss. In guild I tell my two hunters to feign death and that I refuse to heal the assmunch. Ruh has to now run back in and we both die as the asshole bring the boss to both of us.
How kind of him.
Now, the reason I got the name the suicidal healer is because I go down swinging. But Eusy didn't even have a chance (since she had to blow both of her bubbles), nor did poor Ruh.
Mr. Bliitz was such an azzhat that he refused to come back to his body and made the entire group wait for the timer and made nasty comments about it. To which I could not care because Said Azzhat is a Said Azzhat. Thank god we got a fantastic tank who knew what she was doing and ran even a fast enough pace that did not affect how she carried her aggro bucket and we completed the run with no worries.
So, again, if there are any halfway decent druid tanks that are out there in the WoW universe, please get in touch with Raek and Bliitz and explain that they must carry the aggro bucket and learn to tank properly if this is the class and spec they chose to go with.
Next time, I shall have my rolled up newspaper handy.
Hello Everyone! I am Eus-80 Holy Paladin/Suicidal Healer! Founding member of Mass Affluent Slayers and Executive Board. Been playing WoW for over 4 years. I do suffer from altitus and I love my alts, but Eus is my heart.
