Also, remember those who have to work on this day and treat them extra nice since they are giving up their free time to make your food, check you out, answer your call, or whatever else they may be doing.
ReplyDeleteDamn straight! I still personally believe that retail should not be open on Independence Day. I just feel it is wrong. Services that have to absolutley be open, such as hotels, some gas stations, EMT/Fire/Police, things like that, sure fine. But retail and anything customer service phone wise, nope. It's just ridiculous. So yes, please be extra kind to those having to work whether it's retail or otherwise. It's just the right thing to do.
